This high-quality, fine art giclee print captures my adventure into soft pastel, using white gesso and razor blade scraping for highlights, that was started many years ago and just finished recently. With a wilder approach to color than usual, I painted this portrait in praise to Master Darshan’s unbridled, ecstatic Love for the Divine which peeped out from His eyes in a select few photos of Him that I’ve seen. For this painting, I paused a video of the Master, that caught one such glance, and painted it from the still frame image.
