This painting shows the power and control that this world has over us. There is something irresistibly compelling about the light and sound that comes out of the television screen. I don't understand why, for hours, I can sit changing channels - hoping and searching for something to watch that is remarkable, enlightening, truly enthralling, wonderfully inspiring, or ANYTHING good .... but out of the 900 or so channels available, THERE'S NOTHIN' TO WATCH. But I keep sitting, changing channels.... crazy.
