Acrylic and house paint on canvas, 32" x 38", Unframed

This is the first of the “Mystic Beasts” series. Experimentation with materials I had at hand drove this piece.  With a wide brush and an expressive stroke, these Indian elephants were brought onto the canvas.  Then, with painting on floor, old latex acrylic house paint was dripped from above, out of a cup, to create the exotic floral embellishments on the magnificent beasts.
