The gracious Master Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj was a mystic poet who wrote verses that explained His journey from the earthly into the heavenly. This painting was done in honor of His example of how to live as an artist in this difficult world of duality.

This painitng depicts the blessings and grace of His two great Masters, Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj and Param Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj coming down and adorning Darshan Singh with their eternal Love and it manifests as the poetic verses that He brought into this world.

The verse I chose to represent in this painting is as follows:

“With every breath, I must bow to my Friend. For I owe my life to His grace”

To live a life where, at every single breathe, we are giving thanks to our Maker is a life worth remembering in a work of art. That life, in fact, IS a work of Art.
